Development of Online Vissim Traffic Microscopic Calibration Framework Using Artificial Intelligence for Cairo CBD Area

This paper presents a comprehensive framework for online calibration of VISSIM microscopic simulation models using artificial intelligence techniques specifically applied to the Cairo Central Business District area. The methodology incorporates machine learning algorithms to automate the calibration process and improve the accuracy of traffic simulation results. The approach demonstrates significant improvements in model validation metrics and provides a robust foundation for traffic analysis in complex urban environments.
